Although shelter employees see a large number of dogs during their work, each shelter with at least one dog stands out from the others.
Matilda was a beautiful puppy who was welcomed to the Douglas County Animal Shelter. The staff at the shelter immediately realized that Matilda had an unfamiliar situation because she was usually cheerful and anxious. Matilda was adopted immediately upon arrival at the shelter.
When you consider that the first few months of Matilda’s life were incredibly difficult, this was a big surprise for the doctors there.
When the shelter discovered the two-month-old puppy, she had skin irrit ation and was infected with worms. She has been a stray dog on the streets of Georgia since she was born.
However, despite all those obstacles, she did not lose her cheerful personality and continued to wag her tail at all times.
A volunteer named Santina Sanders told The Dodo that the lady in question gave the “amazing kisses.”She was the most amazing thing that ever existed.”
Peebles and more animal rescue was another rescue group that fell in love with the adorable puppy because of the way she interacted with animals. Sanders was not the only one who noticed Matilda’s gentle attitude.
Teresa Bulls ciofalo, one of the directors of the organization, established a relationship with the cheerful and energetic Matilda, as a result, she made the choice to rescue the dog from the shelter and put it in a foster family.
When the dog’s adoptive father came to collect the puppy, the puppy’s happiness was so obvious that she never stopped wagging her tail even after the car ride lasted an hour and a half.
The way she walks is crooked because of how hard she wags her tail.
Matilda was a cute dog, but there was one thing she couldn’t stick to, and that was the collars. When Rich, her adoptive father, tried to put a collar on her, she stopped wagging her tail, which is a strong indication that she did not enjoy the collar.
But other than the collar, the adorable dog is very thrilled with everything else in her new home.
She enjoys spending time with her foster siblings, playing with her toys, and helping her human sibling with academics. She often goes to her human brother’s house to help him with his tasks.
